„As a leading European issuer of warrants, investment and leverage certificates Commerzbank provides its clients with an extensive range of more than 160,000 structured products. In the expansion of our market making offering through CFDs (contracts for difference), METIS supported us comprehensively in the design, the implementation and the further development of an innovative trading platform.

Starting point of the cooperation with METIS was a feasibility study for a "market counterparty" solution with our direct banking subsidiary comdirect. Subsequently, the product offering was elaborated, the process, system and interface requirements were specified, and the on-and offshore implementation including the integration into the existing middle/ back office system landscape was supervised. Finally, METIS conducted comprehensive module and integration tests based on a customised test concept, and thus provided the basis for the successful market launch of the CFD trading platform. In the following project phase 2 existing functionalities were enhanced, mobile applications for smart phones and tablet PCs were developed, and the multi-client capability of the platform was ensured.
